Warning: this blog post is image heavy!
One of my favourite weekends of the year is definitely Thanksgiving. It could even be my favourite holiday of the year. I love the family time involved and I love the weather, which is usually amazing. This year my Thanksgiving was wedding-free so I was able to spend the entire weekend with some of my nearest and dearest. We headed to my Aunt & Uncle’s property North of Kingston. There they have forty acres of pure forest, a bunkie and a cottage that is completely off-the-grid. This is my kind of paradise. Turkey was roasted on the bbq. everyone brought a pie and much was consumed. The weather was gorgeous and a hike in the woods on Sunday through the fallen autumn leave was magical.
