The June issue of Canadian Living is out and some of my portraits are in it! I photographed the Beauty Refresh story: the “after” of Shannon’s awesome makeover. I have been a long-time subscriber of Canadian Living so it was pretty exciting to photograph for them! Here are the layouts in the magazine as well as the original images for the story.

I photographed sweet baby James when he was only ten days old. He was still wrinkly and new. I love his cute little “baby bird” hair. His Mama Jen is an old friend of mine and I am so happy that she is now traveling on this awesome Mom-journey. I cannot wait to watch James grow.

Recently a couple of the lovely ladies from Rock-It Promotions came into my studio for some Beauty Portraits. Debra and Abby are a couple of awesome and talented ladies and it was so great to photograph them. Debra also brought her husband and daughter so I made sure to include them in a couple of shots.

Kid Portraits | Brothers Oliver + Quinn

The last time that I photographed Oliver he was a mere five weeks old. Fast forward over a year and here he is at fourteen months with teeth popping out! I love how babies change and become their own. Oliver and his brother Quinn have some of the bluest eyes that I have ever photographed. They are pretty serious little boys and I loved photographing them at my studio. The last set of images in this post is an animated gif that shows the real life sequence of photographing two young brothers with the goal of creating the one perfect shot. I hope you enjoy it.

Sisters. I love sisters. I am lucky enough to have two of my own (hi ladies!). Steph and Lindsay are some of my favourite sisters. They actually seem to like each other a lot and really get along. Baby Portraits | Eight Month Old Branko

Branko has got to be one of the happiest and most animated babies ever. He is such a little sweetie. The last time that I photographed him, he was only one month old. Now at eight months, he is sitting up and growing teeth. He also recently learned to frown and practised this new skill on me when I came to his house for a portrait session last week.

If you live in Toronto and have experienced any bit of our music industry, you likely know this guy – the one, the only. Branko. Branko is one of those guys that is everywhere. He plays in the band Dinosaur Bones. He free flows under his alter-ego Serb Superb, dressed in nothing but his underwear. He is fashionable and he is a super nice dude. Branko recently came into my studio for a portrait session where we played with dramatic lighting and had a lot of fun.
