The Beauties CD Release at the Horseshoe Tavern

Everyone should know by now how much I love music. After photography, it is my second love. If often go to one or two shows a week. Love live music. One of my favourite local bands is The Beauties who are on one of my favourite record labels, Six Shooter Records. For the past four years they have been kicking it every Sunday night at the Dakota Tavern. This year, things are getting bigger for them. They just sold-out the Horseshoe Tavern for their CD release party. The night was amazing and the Beauties had a few special guests share the stage with them, including Ron Sexsmith and Jason Collett. In a couple of weeks they will be playing on the Island, opening for Pavement and Broken Social Scene. I love these guys and hope that you all pick up a copy of their album which, by the way, I have been listening to it nonstop since Saturday!
