Engagement Portraits | Kristin + Kevin at Wychwood Barns, Toronto

I have lived in Toronto’s St. Clair & Bathurst neighbourhood for a long time. Literally at the end of my street are the Wychwood Barns. I have always wanted to do a portrait session here. The barns once housed the TTC streetcars and have been converted to artist lofts/studios, an event space, a theatre, park, gardens and more. On Saturday mornings they have a great market where you can literally buy everything. I love going there when I have the rare Saturday off from photographing.

When Kristin and I were planning their engagement portrait session they were pretty open to locations in Toronto so we quickly decided to do the shoot at Wychwood. We met at the barns and wandered the neighbourhood before finishing off at the always popular Dutch Dreams icecream place. I had a blast photographing Kristin + Kevin and cannot wait to photograph their wedding come September!
