Sometimes weddings get wild and it is easy to forget the true purpose of them. Everyone gets carried away by the flowers, the food, the dress, the drink and they forget just what the gathering is all about. A wedding should be about you and the one that you have chosen as your forever. It is that simple.
Nienke + Derek acted in exactly this manner. For their wedding, they rented a gorgeous cottage in Muskoka, invited their closest family members and spent a week with them. They chose the Wednesday of their “week away” as the wedding day. Everything about their wedding was welll thought out and very special. I must say, I loved every moment of capturing it for them. Congratulations Nienke + Derek!
